Skin Check

Regular skin checks are an important part of early detection and prevention of skin cancer. During a skin check, your GP will carefully examine your skin from head to toe, looking for any new or changing moles, spots, or lesions. If anything suspicious is found, your doctor may use dermoscopy for a closer look or recommend a biopsy for further testing.

Skin checks are quick, non-invasive, and suitable for anyone—especially those with fair skin, a history of sun exposure, or previous skin cancers. Early detection greatly improves treatment outcomes, so we encourage routine checks and prompt review of any new or changing skin concerns.
